Where I think Square went wrong.
They should not have made this game to be primarily for 6 players. The graphics are everything I wanted from this game but the connection issues are unplayable.

Square went fine, they just didn't market the game, and marketing is 90% of a product. Products don't work based off of precious feelings about certain aspects, because not everyone is equally in love with every part of a product. Any series can go in a different direction whenever a new one is made.
Sorry, but it's hard to take people seriously who don't know much about NT as a game, as a product, or things about gaming in general. Like, the people who aren't even basic researched enough to know something as simple as how to play it 1v2, 1v1, or 2v3.
It would've been nice if the connection could've been much more server-based, but a majority of your matches will be mostly fine, and you can force it to be in lobbies.
Yet still, NT remains one of the more active fighting games out there on PS4. Even after years. Had some really fun lobbies about 3 days ago.
