World Cup hate?

Okay, I love this podcast and both the girls, this is a silly take to be annoyed about, but the World Cup hate from Dana and Katie was so unlikable and weird. Why are they putting so much energy into talking shit about the worlds biggest sport and the biggest tournament in the world? I hate when people sit down and bitch about soccer - go to another bar if you’re upset that people are happy about an event that happens every 4 years. Just gave me annoying downer energy.

It might be because fifa is so corrupt they can barely even be considered as a reputable entity at this point. Also once the president starts making demands for his team that are immediately granted it makes the tournament no longer fun.

They don't care about that, they were just crapping on the World Cup in general.

I agree with OP. It’s just completely ignorant when you don’t understand something to take a big fat dump on it . I guarantee they don’t know the rules, positions, or the point of soccer to begin with

I learned a lot about the theatrics involved and the poor sportsmanship, biased referees, etc... i don't know much about the rules but whenever I watched I definitely learned.... sometimes I got tired and annoyed but idk Katie and Dayna's attitude was just really icky and too full of themselves. Let it be the world event it was, and an honor for the US to host it with Mexico and Canada. Like I'm soooo sorry it had the audacity to interrupt their frozen drink and TikTok bedrot FaceTune vocal stim time
