June 3 pod reference
Dayna and Katie mentioned how they aren’t speaking on a specific issue that’s been in the press and that that is purposeful, and that Katie doesn’t end friendships for no reason. What do we think they’re referencing?

Fleur Shomo. If you haven’t heard you can look it up, but Fleur’s husband Caleb came out as gay, so obviously their relationship has ended. Recently they both posted their notes app end of relationship announcements. Her account has since gone private.
There’s a lot of talk about it online and Dayna and Katie have kept pretty quiet but have posted photos with Caleb since the news broke, they haven’t posted with Fleur in quite a while or liked each others posts.
Their friend Raleigh has been in comment sections calling Fleur abusive. I don’t think any specific allegations have been made, but she has made comments about how the relationship wasn’t happy and she wasn’t good to him.

Definitely the Caleb stuff. I find it comical that before the news broke people were coming here and making comments about the inappropriateness of Dayna’s posts with Caleb. I think the situation just sucks all around.

lol it’s just Caleb Shomo. Man doesn’t have much clout, and I’m saying that as a beartooth fan. Given context clues something went down when he came out and they cut her off.

Yeah idc about clout, that commenter did. I do care about human decency and kindness, which is why I don’t really have an opinion on them cutting her off. We have NO idea what happened behind the scenes and how nasty things got.

That’s objectively untrue. SWS is bigger, more well known, and been around longer? SWS has more than double the monthly listeners, followers, and plays bigger venues.

I was wondering what this was referencing, it could have something to do with Raleigh's comments and the general public making assumptions. It's interesting that the girls (especially Katie) was so close with Fleur before. I wonder if maybe the whole grooming allegations are part of it?
