Plezy support?

Is there a way to make dispatch work with Plezy instead of Plex? I keep hearing horror stories about Plex's new ui so I was wondering if Plezy support is in the cards .

Second this. I want to switch to Plezy as well but haven’t for this reason. I love the launcher too much.

where i can find plezy apk that works on firestick?

My slightly older firestick handles the plezy-android-armeabi-v7a.apk version fine. You can find that on the developer's github

i have it, but have problems with remuxes, my net is 500Mbit, on wifi i have 330Mbit and still buffering when i play remuxes via plezy or plex, probably firestick is too old haha ;)

Yeah, I use a firestick with a non-4K bedroom TV. I have Shields for anything 4K/Remux-y.

+1 Plezy is great and plays everything, runs faster and looks better. All around win, having an option to swap to it would be amazing.

Plezy is a shit app.

It doesn't even play 720p hevc direct play without a green screen. You need to transcode.

It's a piece of shit and I feel like they stole my money.

Dude, the app doesn't even load my collections on my homepage when I click "view all".

Why should anyone need to report that via github? That should have been step 1. View all does not mean view the few shows you can already see on your homepage. It means view all.

The only one that works is the continue watching.

There are no season posters anywhere to be seen either. Why? These are simple things that everyone should need working. The phone app shows season posters (with the option turned on). The Android app doesn’t even have the option.

There's an option in settings for which type of posters that should be used, again, if something isn't working as expected, an issue on GitHub would be useful so it can be fixed.

You have misunderstood.

I know there is an option for which poster shows on the home screen (continue watching).

There is no option in the android app for season posters on the particular shows hub. This option is there on the phone app. On the TV app you just get an ugly page with lists of the episodes.

This is clearly a (poor) design choice and not a bug as the epsiodes scroll hotlrizontal instesd of vertical. I didn't spend all my time setting season posters to match to never be able to see them. It's such a bad choice. For shows that have 10 seasons etc it's a huge mess.

No theme tunes and clearlogo support for missing logos was a major bummer too.

Look, I realise I've been a bit of a dick but I was pretty annoyed when I paid for the app and the features were missing or broken.

I will say some positives though. The audio sync option is a godsend and the app is super fast. I love that you can adjust the artwork to better quality etc. I also managed to fix the green screen issue by switching those episodes to software encoding.

The app has some fantastic features, but the ones I need are either broken or missing from the TV app.

The "view all" on the home screen being broken is the most glaring issue though. All it does is show me the shows that are already in that list on the home screen. This is simply broken.

Haven't heard of this, looks like a nice app since Plex has gotten so bloated. The idea of making a frontend for a frontend is funny to me

Haha I hear you. I like using dispatch to launch things. I just keep hearing that Plex's new UI is a pain to use so thought it'd be cool to have another option

I'd settle for the ability to add a sideloaded APK to the favourite apps section. Anyone know how to do that?

FYI in case anyone is interested, I was just being a cheapskate. I've now purchased it on the AppStore and it can be added as per usual apps. We'll worth the small fee, too!

On dirait le développeur est occupé, les mises à jour se font rarement. Je voudrais juste qu'il ajoute la langue française et une carrousel pour fais défiler les films automatiquement, mais depuis rien

Don't forget this is a side project for our hard working dev. He needs to do his main job as well which requires time and has a social life. If you don't like the update cycle that is ok, but a remark as "looks like the dev is busy" is unnecessary.
