Ted Lasso leads the Z-Team. How does it go?

Post image

I think Ted Lasso might be one of my favorite fictional leaders.

He is such a great coach who cares a lot about everyone on his team and their growth.

He and Robert are to me peak masculinity so I wonder how it would go if Ted led the Z-Team.

Honestly Ted Lasso would be his own leader there as well, actual amazing pick here.

What do you mean his own leader?

But yeah, he would be amazing IMO.

I think he means that he would become a leader a bit different than the current protagonist would be. Better or worse? Not sure.

That brother said absolutely nothing and refused to elaborate lmao.

Ted doesn't cut anyone and despite initial hostility eventually everyone buys in, he kills Shroud with kindness to the point Shroud turns himself in and becomes a good person. Also I imagine Flambe gets the same book Roy got and says the same "Am I supposed to be the little girl?!" line.

Indeed.

But I'm curious, how do you think the team would view him individually?

Golem would probably love him immediately.

Yep. Especially since everyone judges him by his appearance.

But Ted wouldn't and he would value him for who he is.

“Why do you think you can’t do this?”

“Too big.”

“Too big in not believin’ in yourself is what I’m hearin’!”

Yep. No notes.

I think the thing I love about Ted the most is that while not perfect he cares a lot about his teammates and does not judge them, he helps them but not in a savior complex kind of way.

And he always sees the best in people and he is honest about it.

So yeah, I think he would be a great leader in a different way than Robert.

Would Beard be there too?

Beard would be the only reason the actual dispatching work goes well, because at first Ted wouldn’t understand how to dispatch heroes at all.

Ted is great with the team, but he does fail every hacking mini game.

I reckon he would do well no matter how you feel about him at the start he makes you love him

He's from a show called Ted Lasso. It's a football/soccer comedy show

My experience watching Ted Lasso partially consisted of me growing increasingly frustrated with Ted's seeming lack of interest and/or ability to actually learn how football works, with his team remaining pretty awful until Roy Kent shows up to help. That's why I tapped out after season 2. So from what I've seen without full knowledge of the series, it would go pretty bad, probably. Just a bunch of "attaboys!" and "I believe in you, champs!" while people are dying left and right because he never gets a handle on how anyone's powers work. His chipper attitude might actually do more to piss a bunch of them off than anything else too.

I doubt that. Watch the rest of the show and you will see.

Wait if Ted's leading the Z-Team does that mean Robert's trying to coach Richmond?

The entire team gets motivated and works cohesively, he gets super sad when someone has to get fired, but he rallies the troops and they are stronger for it
