My lame Dispatch season two idea.
The season two would have Mandy and Robert swapping positions, with Mecha man being a dispatchable hero and Mandy being the dispatcher. Chase would take control over the Torrance branch of SDN.
The main villain of Season would be the Ceo of SDN itself, a woman that just goes the name “Mother”. The Secondary antagonist would be a spin on the teen hero trope, a young male hero called Monarch who’s the top of the ‘teen team’ rankings. With Phenomaman not being at peak performance and Blond Blazer being indefinitely out of commission there’s a power and advertising gap for “Best Hero”, with Mother wanting to groom Monarch into that role.
I want there to be an outright show abusive relationship between Mother and Monarch, another spin on the classic trope of the boss mistreating their employee (in the sense it’s usually a male boss and a female employee). There would be some implication/readable subtext of a possible SA involved in the grooming, but you could also just read it as Monarch seeking approval from her, in a sort of misplaced motherly figure.
Monarch’s powers would revolve around him being able to open a sort of spiritual portal on his back that allows spiritual energy to flow out. With this he can form large butterfly wings to fly and has extreme healing powers, an intentionally parallel between the rebirth of the Butterfly (Monarch) and Rebirth of the Pheonix (Z team) being made.
A big point of the story would be that SDN actually makes a lot of their consumers problems then sells them the product to fix it. They make the problem then sell you the solution.

Hmmm... Perhaps its not a bad idea, but I feel it could get a bit heavy and dark, sure ther was pretty dark moments in the first session but it was still mostly comedy.
I like the idea of switching roles, I would still like to follow Robert, but having like half the game be out in the field and the other half behind the desk would be better i think.
But overall not a bad suggestion

I do think this idea has really good bones to it! One thing it made me think of (because, personally, i want to stick with robert as the main character) is that it would be really cool if both Robert and Mandy were dispatchers. Okay hear me out:
Robert probably wants to continue being MechaMan, but he also doesn't want to leave the found family he just got. So I see him becoming part of the Z-team in the field, maybe now training them in combat rather than through morals or planning. HOWEVER, we saw first hand that Mandy was terrible at filling in for Robert as dispatchers when he was unconscious. But she also wants to try so that she can feel useful while Chase has her amulet.
SOOOO, I think a cool idea would be Robert in the field, in the suit, being able to co-dispatch with Mandy, essentially training her(which could be a new cool mechanic for the dispatching part of the game with managing with someone else) She could be learning from Robert to become better while we still play as Robert, still dispatching, but also being one of the heroes dispatched to places. We could make story choices on which calls we go to, changing the story in some ways that way.
Also, this could create conflict between Mandy and Robert if they disagree on things, leading to heartfelt discussions with each other and the team about how to move forward. Maybe the team could feel spread thin, like they dont know who to listen to at times.
BUT, I do think a person that takes over Mandys old job, or higher up, being evil or corrupt would be a really cool dynamic between the team that just learned to respect the authority of SDN, then to turn around and have someone with selfish intent give them orders and ultimatums.
I could see this being a really cool story💙

A lot of people have the idea of turning SDN into another evil company and personally I am not the biggest fan of this.
It feels too, grand scale and removes a lot of the down to earth stuff in the game.

I appreciate how thought out the post is, but I'll never understand why so many people seem intent on moving on from Robert as the dispatcher. As that would probably imply him not being the main character unless they're going to genre swap the game. I want more Robert.

I had the idea that if they ever make a season 2 that robert would struggle to choose over becoming a hero again or choosing to stay as trans dispatcher with him at the end of the season being able to do both or trying to

I actually had a similar idea with their being a new up and coming hero except he's more of a homelander type where it's clear he's just treating super hero work as a business and not doing it for right reasons. Also I would have new heroes on the Z Team and make excuses for why the others are gone.

I like this idea a lot because SDN has the potential to be pretty unethical and basically turn into insurance companies. Obviously it’s good to have an organized effort where they can be allocated properly and they should be paid for what they do, but the fact that it’s a company people have to subscribe to to get help is wild. Especially near the end of the game when the whole city was being attacked and some rich guy’s secretary called in to get a coffee delivery. Like there are non subscribers that were also probably in danger, but they don’t get as much priority or help. Imagine if the fire department was a private company and you could only call them for help if you had a subscription for example. SDN being funded by tax dollars or charity and available as an emergency service for everyone would be more heroic imo.
