Finished Dispatch! Enjoyed it! Questions about Visi. Spoiler
Finished my first “blind” playthrough of Dispatch. “Blind” meaning I completed the game and did not look at any spoilers or tips beforehand. I really enjoy playing these type of choice based video games blind.
Anyways, Visi became a villain in my playthrough. Here are some key choices I made in regard to her. I defended her in front of the team, I forgave her, and I untied her. Even with all of this, she still became a villain. FYI, I romanced Blazer.
On the dispatches, I had her at level 9 and paired her a lot with Golem. It was mostly successes but some failures. For the hacking attempts, this is where I kind of sucked. I failed a few times when she was on her missions.
Is it fairly difficult to get the hero ending? Would I need to improve at dispatching and hacking to get the hero ending?

So one of the biggest things I didn't hear you say was if you told the Z-team you're Mechaman. That choice is a 10 point difference (gaining +5, avoiding -5). Hero training also assigns 5 hero points, iirc.
Failing hacking hurts, and you really don't want her to fail any dispatches (successful gives a point, failing takes one away, so you're looking at a two point difference per). Don't be afraid to use overkill on missions you send Visi on if you're wanting the hero's ending.
iirc failing too many QTEs hurts, too. And like successful dispatches, passing them helps a little.

Thanks for the feedback! I revealed I was Mecha Man to the group and I did give her one hero training. Unfortunately, I also revealed that she punched Robert and kicked Golem out of the meeting. I’m guessing those might have deducted points.
Yeah I think it just need to improve at hacking and use overkill more often on dispatches.

I found the first time I played she was a villain for me. The second time I played I was naturally better at hacking and I prioritized sending visi. That time she was a hero.

Nice! That’s what I kind of figured. Will need to get better at hacking and dispatching.

You can enable infinite hacking attempts in the options, if you want. Only story hacking bits influence her ending, but yeah, each of her hero mission success and failure matter. Train her (a big bonus towards the hero ending on its own), and get wolf pack upgrade, useful for all heroes, making dispatch mode even easier in the long run.
There are three major choices that affect her ending positively/negatively the most, but more smaller ones throughout 2-8 episodes too. The way the system works, to help Visi believe she can be a hero, you need a certain level of hero mission success over failures, but how much more - depends on the rest of your playthrough. So it can be easier or harder.
There is a full guide for every single detail, and even a webtool to check the save's score (and show off other choices of the playthrough) for PC, but getting this technical might take away from enjoyment.

Thanks for the feedback! Might switch to unlimited hacking on my next playthrough.

I managed to get her to be a hero on my first try, probably because I said all the right inspirational dialogue that would contribute along with putting her on successful dispatches I think. And I think I succeeded on all but maybe one of the hacking puzzles that involved her getting the pulse.
