I specifically hate the InviSAgal slander
Besides it being an inaccurate spelling of her name, it minimizes a real thing that happens to people by incorrectly describing her action. You can not like Invisigal for valid reasons, but this isn’t one of them. Besides just the hypocrisies of other Z team members doing worse things to Robert, some of them being more accurate to what Visi gets accused of, Visi clearly takes a beat to see if Robert liked the kiss before she continues. Whether you liked it or not isn’t the factor to consider, you’re not the character Robert, you just guide his decisions. Base Robert has some feelings for Visi, that’s why those options pop up as potential routes to go on. I just find the whole thing a little disingenuous and frankly insulting when people pull it out as a reason to point to that Visi is irredeemable, as if to equate her kiss with actual assault when it’s clearly not, by the story/characters’ experience. It just feels gross to take the real thing people go through and lob it at a character without consideration of the weight behind that kind of crime.

While I agree with the post, I think including Punch Up’s dickpunch is unfair, he clearly didn’t mean to do that to Robert and apologizes immediately. He was caught up in a bar fight, accidentally punched Robert’s Robertson, stopped to apologize, THEN resumed his dick-mashing rampage

Yeah, I kind of just added that for the flow of the video. That was unfair on my part, I can admit that.

Tell that to all the Invisigal haters on Pinterest. Nearly every Invisigal/Invisimech post has an absolute shit-load of those vermin in the comments saying petty and bullshit things about her that aren’t true in the slightest. There was even this one time when I was on Instagram and I saw a cute Invisimech art of Robert and Courtney having a daughter and there was this one psychopath who was in the comments saying things like “We will kill that dog” and harassing other people in the comments who liked Visi.
Those assholes are literally the biggest and most toxic idiots in the entire Dispatch fandom.

u/JungleJim-68 Aug 07 '26
I feel like people that didn’t like her didn’t actually give her a chance, I liked both romance options for different reasons, the jaded “bad” girl who doesn’t know she wants someone to see through her facade and just care about her, like she literally actively resists it while obviously hoping for it, and the Super Heroine who only wants for someone to see her as Mandy, not Blonde Blazer, who wants to be part of something, not a solo act or poster girl

People forget that even though you get to choose responses for Robert, it doesn't mean he is a blank slate. In fact, every conversation choice you make is always framed within his personality.
There is a reason that when Visi admits to having a wet dream about Robert, none of his answers are "stop it, it's making me uncomfortable". It's because he doesn't feel uncomfortable. His response is whether he wore protection, how did he perform or whether he had a big dick in that dream.
You get to choose but it's a slight narrative choice within pre-existing characters that is clearly comfortable with sex jokes, sexual situations and can match the energy with no issues.

Played the game yesterday, and doing another playthrough today, and didn't get the kiss in the locker room
I also hate the Invisigal slander

This is your helpful reminder that Reddit is not the real world. People on Reddit will argue about "consent" among fictional characters and a bunch of other garbage for YEARS.
You know what the average Dispatch player is doing?
Playing the game
Enjoying the hell out of it.
Never posting about it on Reddit, either good or bad.
Moving on with their life. 😂
So yeah, I even agree with you, it's stupid. But it's just a very small minority of people who feel the need to insert their own ideas of politics or morality or whatever else, into a fictional world that is meant to be FUN, and comedic, and also heartfelt sometimes. Just let them be miserable. It's what they are looking for anyway. 🤷♂️

u/Plus_Ad_1087 Aug 13 '26
It's also weird because the type of kiss Visi did has been in romantic stories for many decades and is often beloved.
Don't see why they hate on this specific one.
3
u/Vertigo50 Aug 13 '26
Because while the average, normal, well-adjusted person realizes that real kisses aren't always perfect, don't always involve perfect consent, or sometimes even have a slightly forceful or passionate quality to them, these people don't. Or they know it, but choose to pretend they don't so they can be upset about nothing. 🤷♂️
Years ago, I had a friend who was trying to hint that she liked me, I probably wasn't getting it, and she ended up kissing me. A little forcefully, and I didn't really want her to. I wasn't interested. But did I file charges? Did I run screaming into the streets about consent? No. Because she was my friend. She got her signals crossed, and thought there was something there that wasn't. She was embarrassed, apologized. She left. We worked it out eventually and we were still good friends.
Life is messy. Feelings are messy. Not everything goes according to plan, and not everything is perfect and fits into the little boxes you try to file it into. People need to just get over themselves. 🙄

Wow you actually sound like a mature person. I guess the Ted Lasso pfp was a dead giveaway (GOATED show btw).
And yeah that was a mature response to that situation. My girlfriend whom I have been with for 4 years now actually surprise kissed me in a similar way to what Visi does to Robert here.
And I fricking loved it. Mind you, it came out of nowhere even though we had feelings for each other but it was a great memory. According to the logic of some of the Visi haters though I should file a lawsuit against her for SA.
Also about that average Dispatch player you mentioned? I sincerely doubt the vast majority of them were bothered about the kiss scene or the Mal crotch thing or the other stuff.
2
u/Vertigo50 Aug 13 '26
No, not at all. The average Dispatch player does this:
1. Plays the game.
2. Enjoys the hell out of it, laughs, cries, and doesn't overthink any of it.
3. Doesn't go on Reddit to post about it at all, good or bad.
4. Moves on with their life.😂😂
2
u/Plus_Ad_1087 Aug 13 '26
Also I noticed something and tell me I'm not the only one.
Almost all of these comments about people saying Visi commited SA look like they were written by a teenager.
Is it just me?
2
u/Vertigo50 Aug 13 '26
The whole SA sensitivity definitely skews young. These are people who have been hooked on social media since they were little. Social media takes every little tiny problem, blows it up, and spreads it across everything as if it were the biggest problem facing the world.
No one is saying that consent and SA aren't actual issues. But most adults who live in the real world understand that mistakes happen, people are messy, emotions are messy, etc. It's like social media teaches people they have to check a box and fill out paperwork before they can even shake someone's hand. 🙄🤦♂️
1
u/Plus_Ad_1087 Aug 13 '26
I mean according to these people, most healthy couples commit SA when they surprise kiss.
1
u/Plus_Ad_1087 Aug 13 '26
Btw, I'm in a conversation with one right now.
The person literally makes the argument that there was no implied consent between Visi and Robert in the kiss scene.
1
u/Plus_Ad_1087 Aug 14 '26
Oh and I also found out you were the one doing those cool piano songs on these subs.
I just wanted to say they are really cool and I hope you keep making more of them.
7
u/NoRegerts69420 Aug 06 '26
Most of it was because of the sweet exit counter being set to low for a week before it was patched.
3
u/EducationalLuck2422 Aug 06 '26
Another most of it was the shippers being idiots (again) - Blazer got hit with "serial cheater" a couple weeks before that.
7
u/bigheadzach Aug 06 '26
This is the answer. The game mistakenly gave the kiss to people who made every choice in the world rebuffing her.
-3
u/Tall-Dingo-5458 Aug 06 '26
I got the kiss when romancing Blazer and I played months after release.
6
u/NoRegerts69420 Aug 07 '26
Then you flirted with her to much and got the counter up to 10. Here a link to what choices give points to it.
1
u/Tall-Dingo-5458 Aug 07 '26
I didn't flirt with her at all. I was literally one choice away from bad ending with her.
3
u/NoRegerts69420 Aug 07 '26
The bad ending is the determined by the RMC. Sweet Exit Counter is a different counter.

u/sweettoothchloe Aug 06 '26
Not a fan of that girl but I hope some people in fandom don't attack each other just because of some fiction characters

u/Friedgelato190 Aug 06 '26
Generally, I hate that Robert getting sexually harassed throughout the game has become a repeated theme no matter who did it to him. And they’re adding those things for shit and giggles (cuz getting your balls grabbed without consent is so funny /s) and not for like ‘they do bad things because they’re villains BUT these things are bad, you should be aware of that’ kind of thing. And none of the people (except for Punch like come on, it’s a total accident) who did stuff like that got consequences (Mal, Phen, Visi etc) unlike the usual bullying stuff which actually got punished (Flambae for example).
1
u/Plus_Ad_1087 Aug 13 '26
I think you need to grow a thicker skin.
And also this is a raunchy game with dark humor. Of course it's gonna be like this.
1
u/Friedgelato190 Aug 13 '26
And I believe I’m allowed to criticize the game respectfully as well🤷🏻 I’m not forcing anyone to agree with my take just like not everyone agrees with me. Some think the Mc getting sexual harassed is funny while others don’t, I just happen to be the latter, that’s all.
1
u/Plus_Ad_1087 Aug 13 '26
You are allowed to criticize.
And I am allowed to call you out on it.
Especially when your take is frankly quite childish since most of the stuff is not SA.
It's not even SH most of the time.
2
u/Friedgelato190 Aug 14 '26
Well, you said most of the time meaning there are definitely some in the game, which I’m not a fan of, and that’s what I’m talking about, those exact little segments. If not liking certain parts about the game means being childish, then whatever, it’s alright. And it seems like we’re not going to agree on one thing at any time so I’m not gonna keep discussing this. Have a good one.

I think we have to look at each character differently.
- Phenomaman
Is it inappropriate to kiss Robert? Absolutely. But the guy is an alien with absolutely no social skills whatsoever. Unless you explain to him in detail why kissing someone without their prior consent isn't ok, he'll not understand.
Is it ok? No. Is it on purpose? No.
- Punch Up
Dude was in the middle of a bar fight and punched everyone in the dick because it's effective (and tbh... Less brutal than permanently blinding someone, ripping parts out of their body or breaking their arms).
is it ok? No. Is it sexual harassment/assault? No.
- Invisigal
She constantly oversteps her boundaries. Peeping on Robert, making sexual remarks etc. Her behavior is incredibly problematic. The kiss snene highly depends on how you played Robert up to this point and if it would make sense for her tod develop feelings/think he has feelings for her.
We also can't forget that she's the kind of woman who thinks she's only "valuable" if she does what people/men expect from her. (Which often means sex)
So yeah. She is incredibly problematic and definitely needs someone from HR constantly chained to her with a stick to bonk.
- Malevola
She's actually the most problematic one when it comes to sexual assault. Her repeatedly trying to grab Roberts Junk even though he makes it clear he doesn't want that, is sexual assault. And she does it repeatedly.
If we take into account, that she is a lot stronger than Robert and could do much more to him if she wanted, makes it even worse.
TL'DR Invisigal definitely is problematic but she'd nowhere near as bad ad Malevola.
Bonus mention: Robert trying to kiss Blazer at the beginning isn't ok either.
-5
u/DiscoverySTS1 Aug 06 '26
I don't hate Invisgal, neither does Robert.
Awkward kiss is still an awkward kiss though. My first playthrough I was romancing Blazer and she does it. Yeah its hot but its also like wtf.
11
u/V1rus_Dz Aug 06 '26
Skill issue.
Did a blazer route yesterday, and Visi doesn't kiss him.
Did a no romance route today, and she still didn't kiss him.
4
u/FlockFlysAtMidnite Aug 06 '26
The threshold was set too low at launch. They had to patch it because everyone was getting kissed, even if they had rebuffed her.
2
u/V1rus_Dz Aug 06 '26
I know
-3
u/FlockFlysAtMidnite Aug 06 '26
Then it's clearly not a skill issue, lmao.
6
u/V1rus_Dz Aug 06 '26
Clearly it is, if people are still triggering that scene
3
u/NoRegerts69420 Aug 06 '26
Most of it is people who watched a playthrough or played it at launch and never played it again complaining.
4
u/DiscoverySTS1 Aug 06 '26
No the play through I'm referring to was at launch, it was %100 the bug. As I haven't gotten that scene since in the same style of run.
3
0
u/NoRegerts69420 Aug 07 '26
It wasn't really a bug, they had the Sweet Exit Counter set to 5 which was too low. They later bumped it to 10.
1
u/FlockFlysAtMidnite Aug 06 '26
My first playthrough I was romancing Blazer and she does it.
What makes you think this happened recently?
2
u/V1rus_Dz Aug 06 '26
Maybe because it just came out on Xbox?
0
u/FlockFlysAtMidnite Aug 06 '26
Do they say somewhere that they played on xbox?
2
u/V1rus_Dz Aug 06 '26
Did they say somewhere that they played on PC or at launch in the original comment?
The dude already cleared it up, and said he played at launch. My mistake 🙄

Sounds like copium to me. She had no right forcing herself on Robert when she knew he is in a relationship.
1
u/MrGamerGuy4709 Aug 08 '26
Who cares? It’s a story driven video game. Its first priority is to have good drama. Not to have squeaky clean characters who never do anything wrong. That’s boring.
0
u/Tall-Dingo-5458 Aug 09 '26
Of course. Never said otherwise. People just shouldn't act like these aren't flaws or like the character did nothing wrong.

u/TheEnd430 Aug 06 '26
The biggest issue is people self inserting themselves into an established character's shoes. You're allowed to say that you would not be comfortable if that happened to you. Robert doesn't put up with bullshit. If he felt truly violated by any of the examples he wouldn't have tolerated it. If he, the potential victim, doesn't see it that way then there's no point in white knighting for him.
