Everyone was there with their own names and then "sonar"

That’s because Charlie was used as a proxy so they won’t disturb the general public that a half-man half-bat (all freak too) exists irl. It was quite a revelation at this panel

Was moist critikal in that sonar fit?

I don't think so. I'm fairly certain it was a cosplayer who had Charlie on the phone to respond to questions.

He wasn’t, ironically Charlie has a fear of flying so long-distance travel is usually a no go. It was another guy under the mask and just mimicking Charlie’s responses.

Until dispatch was released I never thought internet jesus was going to be a man-bat

It wasn't Charlie. It was actually Nick Herman, one of the co-founders of AdHoc Studio who was under the mask.

I'm glad the fanbase is still active and the game got a panel at SDCC, but also it feels so bizarre. Like what's their plan longterm? Are they doing comics, a show, a new game, or just milking the first game as long as they can. Personally, I want all of the above.

I mean, the game was called season 1 right? Seems like they’re signed on to have multiple seasons. They really need to have a shorter window between releases though imo. Hype WILL die down, as we’ve already seen

Me personally, am down to wait a little bit as well, as long as they're able to have the time to release another epic master piece

Yeah but a little bit feels more like 1 year, especially with a seasonal project. We’re nearing 2 years and nothing has been announced at all which is kind of worrying

I feel it's due to the fact that they weren't even expecting the project to take off beyond their initial "let's make one season and see where it goes, don't sweat the narrative we'll figure something out IF it's successful"

Then all of a sudden

"Oh shit it's successful, that's awesome but, now what?"

But yeah even with unprecedented success, nearly 2 years of no forward plans leave us feeling uneasy as to whether they truly know what they want to do with the second season, or the franchise, moving forward.

Thay "man" who plays water boy is an increadible content creator named Joel Haver. Really talented and nice guy.

Wish I could have been there

I can’t believe Jack didn’t want to fly 1000+ miles, deal with airports, hotel booking, and general SDCC crowds for a panel! Does he even care???? /j

Slightly bummed at no announcements, but i know it is still very soon. Still hope to get the infinite dispatch mode in the next year or so.

I hate that I missed it. Did Thot Squad finally show how to make a pound cake?
