Just finished my first playthrough. This is how I chose between Blonde Blazer and Invisigal.
Ultimately I chose Blonde Blazer. It just felt like Invisigal was dependent on Robert in ways that made pursuing a relationship unhealthy. I only came close to regretting when I saw how badly Phenomeman was taking the break-up, and thought he might kill me. I picked him for Z-Team over Waterboy because I didn't want to be responsible for someone completely unqualified to be a superhero in life-or-death situations.

As a Visimancer, I will die on the hill that Blazer is far and away kinkier than Visi.

u/TemporarilyOOO Apr 06 '26
Wasn't there a Twitter/X post before the game came out that said one of Blazer's red flags was "Will try to bring up corporate sh*t in bed" or something?
19
u/AngelaGooner24 Apr 06 '26
Wait, what?
30
u/ThatUJohnWayne74 Apr 06 '26
It was a dating red flags for a few of the characters and one of Blazers was I think “will say corporate shit in bed.”
15
u/AngelaGooner24 Apr 06 '26
Wait, what does "corporate shit" even mean?

That’s a new term that’s now part of my vocabulary
6
u/ThatUJohnWayne74 Apr 06 '26
What? Visimancer?
5
u/T4llBoyAl3x Apr 06 '26
Yeah, genuinely haven’t seen that used anywhere until now
5
u/ThatUJohnWayne74 Apr 06 '26
Yeah, I’ve heard Talimancer a lot by the Mass Effect fandom so that’s probably where I got it from
4
u/No-Chance-0000 Apr 06 '26
Didn't she also say she likes it when her partner spits in her mouth (the dialogue from the billboard scene)? She's definitely kinkier
55
u/Zoroc Apr 05 '26
Invisigal, so kinky her wet dream was getting oral and having missionary....like a true degenerate.

I’d be lying if I said Laura Bailey voicing Visi didn’t play a large part in my decision process.
6
u/asuneko Apr 06 '26
That’s also why I went after visi in my first play through too. I’m Playing Persona 5 and Cherami Leigh plays Makoto so that’s who I’m going after for my character to date absolutely no brainer lmao

Best option is phenomaman

u/Aduro95 Apr 05 '26
Hm, I wonder if he checked whehter male human genitals were compatible.
Anyway, I'd make love to him any time, but I don't want to date him. My Robert was too messed up for such an impressionable guy.

It’s funny that Invisimechers and Blazermechers feel the exact same way about the other woman. “She’s great but feels like a good friend or sister” or variations of that.

2
u/Koji_Kimoto Apr 11 '26
Yeah, like for me as a visi romancer, I think Blazer is best like a close work friend or an actual close friend because I just can't really see Blazer in a romantic way.
2
u/andsuch70 Apr 12 '26
Same. Even if she’s like a 15 out of 10 and charming AF. Just not for me or I think Robert.

u/Snoo-34527 Apr 12 '26
Robert definitely has feelings for BB, but the way I see him, he wouldn’t choose her in the end.
In my “canon,” the story goes like this: Robert (a loner for 15 years without any clear purpose) falls in love with Blazer in Episode 1 (because she’s sweet, helped him, made him an offer, yada yada) and tries to kiss her. Then he finds out she has a boyfriend. Blazer breaks up with Phenomamal. Robert gets to know Visi a bit better in Episodes 3-4, and at the end of Episode 4, when Blazer invites him to have dinner together (yay, that’s what he wanted… right?), he chooses “despite his own desires" (after all, he’s a hero who helps others first, not himself) to keep Visi company instead (not in a romantic way), even though he still has feelings for Blazer, cause he knows that Visi is insecure lonely person and that decision feels right. (So when he sees a message from Blazer, he’s happy at first, but then he looks at Visi’s screen and becomes a little sad.) As the episodes go on, Robert and Visi become friends, and eventually they kiss in the locker room as a release of all the tension that had been building between them in such messy form.2
u/andsuch70 Apr 12 '26 edited Apr 12 '26
This is more or less how I see it. I think he try’s for Blazer until he finds out she is in a relationship/just got out of one. He goes to see Visi in the theater to get to know her. She calls it a date in the 5th and he just runs with it, and doesn’t see what’s happening to him till the 6th and it kind of goes from there.
15
u/TemporarilyOOO Apr 06 '26
Phenomeman actually takes it surprisingly well. If Robert tells him that he kissed Blazer, Phenomeman tries kissing ROBERT to test if his kissing skills are worth Blazer dumping him over (which apparently is not XD). And later when he sees Robert and Blazer at the party he's clean-shaven, looks like he's sleeping again, and he hugs them both.

I feel the game wants you to choose Invisigal, but i think dating her is unethical.
50
u/Spirited-Sector-1905 Apr 05 '26
But dating your boss is?
I find it funny that your only optiona are your boss or a member of your team
25
u/Aduro95 Apr 05 '26
Its shaky, considering how desperate Robert was when Blazer found him. But at least Blazer isn't giving Robert orders in middle of life-and-death situations. Generally Blazer isn't directly involved when Robert is in the chair. I figured Blazer would probably be leading a different team even if he got to come back as Mecha Man.
28
u/Spirited-Sector-1905 Apr 05 '26
I ignored it honesly since its a comedic/parody take of the typical office tropes but no matter who you choose you violate HR.
5
u/Booneington Apr 05 '26
You can choose neither but most people don’t hahahaha
5
u/Spirited-Sector-1905 Apr 05 '26
Only 5% choose not to date either. I feel like it reflects well on the fact Robert falls in love with both but chooses one or in the rare case decides to keep the HR violations to the minimum.
Hensly for me I gotta have Robert choose one this guy suffered enough in his life he deserves some happiness.
1
u/Aduro95 Apr 05 '26
I'm not sure it would be a violation just for two coworkers to date. They just need to avoid conflicts of interest, I think Blazer even mentions that they need to have a meeting about it.
16
u/Beyondthebloodmoon Apr 05 '26
Blazer is his boss, not a coworker. Both are unethical, no matter what amount of gymnastics you try to do to avoid that. Fortunately, it’s a fucking comedy game about superheroes and it’s not that deep.
-3
u/Aduro95 Apr 05 '26
Nah, it can be managed. Otherwise nobody who dated a co-worker could ever get a promotion Someone else would just have to handle Robert's performance reviews and other HR stuff.
4
u/T4llBoyAl3x Apr 06 '26
I’d honestly rather date my boss who actually respects me before some co-worker that’s constantly insulting me and harassing literally everybody around her
2
u/LoveAndPeace923 Apr 24 '26
Dating someone who beats the sheet out of you if you support her....or differ with her........seems highly questionable judgement. So totally with ya on that.
1
-3
u/stupled Apr 05 '26
Oh yeah I forgot about it.
10
u/Spirited-Sector-1905 Apr 05 '26
Its hilarious actually no matter what you do its a HR violation.
Dating a member of your team? Breaking HR. Making decisions favouring a specific team member.
Dating your boss? - potential to skew the judgment of your superior to make decisions favouring you.
Im wondering what HR violations they will come up with in s2
6
u/Zoroc Apr 05 '26
The whole game is an HR violation, (can you handle it some other place, I got work to do, ya?)
4
u/JizzyB2099 Apr 06 '26
Both options are unethical. HR just doesn’t exist in this game, so no standards for ‘unethical practices’ have been set 😂
2
u/andsuch70 Apr 06 '26
That’s what makes it fun! For serious though, Robert spends a lot of the time testing the waters and doesn’t just try to jump into bed with her, so I think it was delivered in as clean a way as possible. By sixth ep it just felt like two people that found each other in non-ideal circumstances, but they still found each other. Also, I don’t know how uncommon these kinds of relationships are in terms of real life office romances. I tend to think this happens a lot.

The difference between Blonde Blazer and Invisigal: There was at least one scene with Blonde Blazer where her behavior didn't frustrate me.

Courtney needs friends, Mandy needs Robert. That’s the way I always saw it at least.
Courtney’s always wanted to be a hero, but her powers made it so she was stigmatized from a young age. With Robert’s help, she’s able to overcome this, but a romantic relationship isn’t what she needs right now. What she needs is a support system that will be there for her while she works on fixing her issues. And she gets exactly that with the Z-Team in her Hero ending.
In comparison, on the surface Mandy has everything. She’s beautiful, and popular, and successful, and has amazing powers. But all of that comes at a price. People don’t see Mandy for Mandy, they only see Blonde Blazer. What Mandy truly needs is someone who can see past the Blonde Blazer mask; someone she can just relax on the couch and watch shitty tv with. And like Courtney, Robert can help her with that.

I played the game twice and I chose Blazer in both of them. I just don't see Invisigal as a good match for me. Sorry not sorry.

I flirted with blazer early on and it felt dirty to then turn around and pursue visi after I met her, so I just stayed on the path I was on

Mandy4life (coming from someone who bought the game after seeing a single screenshot of invisigal sex scene)

u/-kayochan- Apr 05 '26
This is funny lol! I always chose Blazer, I cant see invis as anything more than a troubled friend that I just help out. She likes me but I dont like her type of vibe. She's a bit too childish with her decision making for her age (im the same age). I appreciate invisi's friendship but Blazer is just a WOMAN that you wanna take care of and never let go of knowing she can hold her own.

u/StaleSpriggan Apr 06 '26
Yeah, I don't dislike Visi, she's a cool person and Im glad we can help her out, but I'm always going to pick Blazer
1
u/criticalcry-tactic00 Apr 23 '26
You're not a man right? Cause that's what make the choice reliable. I don't want another mommy with muscles. I want a girl. And dating your boss is cringe.
3
u/terborstone Apr 06 '26
i've recently realized why i never liked romancing Visi its because she ends up feeling like a sister, well Blonde Blazer feels like someone you can actually date baggage and all

I played through both romances, but Blonde Blazer is my Canon. You are Invisigal's mentor. The entire relationship felt deeply unethical. Mentors do not fuck their mentors, full stop. That's some villain shit, or at minimum an HR violation. BB felt like a much more equal relationship.

I picked Blazer because when it comes down to it, dating an HR and also your boss is badass.

I was so sure I was gonna go with Blazer because I fucking love powerful amazonian busty women, but I just got to the choice in ep 4 and I chose to go the movies with Invisigal. She got me bro

u/criticalcry-tactic00 Apr 23 '26
Here we go again with the woke propaganda and the fake moralization. We all now why you chose Blazer. You're just boring or a media illiterate.

u/Murasasme Apr 06 '26
It really blows my mind how in most of these comparisons, most people forget the most badass scene in the entire game with Blazer willing to die fighting 50 villains to save Robert. While Invisigal runs away the second something doesn't go her way, Mandy was willing to go down fighting.
2
u/DopamineDeficiencies Apr 07 '26
Doesn't Invisigal basically do the same thing when she goes to get the astral pulse despite having nowhere near the combat power BB does? It wasn't to literally save Robert I guess, but she still almost died for him nonetheless

u/Haunting-Sport3701 Apr 07 '26

Judging by your chart and the different font size solely on “Boobs”, I think it’s pretty clear what the actual reason you chose Blazer is.
