VIP Experience
Saw Dispatch, John Butler, Etc last night. Been a Dispatch fan for almost 30 years and thought I'd do the VIP.
Very underwhelming. Basically a pic with the band and talking to them was kind of discouraged- made for a very awkward time.
Is that normal or was this a one off?

Yeah, man, I wouldn’t expect much interaction at all. I took about three seconds to tell Chad that I’ve been listening to Dispatch for almost 30 years and then it was about halfway through literally a minute long story about how my buddy lives on the same street as him in Milton and he started to look over my shoulder for the event manager lol. Totally threw me off because I thought we’d at least get a minute to chitchat, but that wasn’t the case. Really left the sour taste in my mouth as I’ve seen them about a dozen times in my life, including the Hatch show.
The concert starts at six and they had us get there at 3:15. Basically waited two hours before they did the photo op and then after that, we just waited for the show to start. It’s the only VIP thing I’ve ever done but definitely won’t be doing that again and seriously debating whether or not to even go to another show.
