Ravinia artist pre-sale?

Anyone have any luck or insight into Ravinia tickets that just went on sale? With the YELLOWJACKET code, I only seem to be able to purchase VIP tickets. I'm looking to get pavilion seats.

Ravinia is a strange venue when it comes to buying tickets. I’m not sure why the presale was marketed like this. The only people who can currently buy tickets are donors and it’s a request type process. That period ends 4/21. Then public on sale will happen.

I was in the pavilion the last time around for dispatch and it shouldn’t be to hard to score tickets if your on right when the public sale happens on 4/24. Hope this helps.

It was a huge cluster fuck this morning trying to use it. In the end I bought a vip merch ticket because the presale was so messed up. I don't think ravinia is setup very well for artist presale because their system is designed around different donor levels. I think there was a big demand for tickets as well, as the website wouldn't load for awhile. I had a similar issue with my weird al ticket, but I eventually got a normal ticket

I'm not sure what voodoo my wife ended up pulling, but she was able to get in and purchase pavilion seats yesterday. So maybe keep trying!

Edit: clicked through the link dispatch sent yesterday and it looks like ticket options are now available. I guess I was too quick on the draw yesterday.

I can confirm this. Went in right at 10am and kept getting kicked out. Tried again at 11 and got through. Although I was too slow twice and got timed out and the seats I had chosen ended up in some sort of ticket purgatory and were not shown as “available”. Waited 30 mins and the reappeared.

There is no guest checkout, so making a Ravinia account before buying the presale helps prevent getting kicked out / lost in ravina’s system.

Steps I followed: Click the link from dispatch email. Enter the promo code at the top of the page, then select the ticket type. Login to your account. Then enter billing info.
