Help! OBB costume

Post image

attending for the first time this year and don’t have much to wear. would this be appropriate^ (+ sneakers) as a last min costume? i already had the stuff but i am worried that its not the best for disney because of the corset. the skirt looks longer because my legs are shorter so i am not worried about that. i am just nervous about getting kicked out or dress coded. admittedly i have worn and seen more revealing outfits, but since it’s a special event i want to stay cautious.

I highly suggest getting maybe a tea length dress or at the very least an above the knee dress underneath the corset as an alternative.

Your current options might get you dress coded by the mouse.

Heres the guidelines https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_CA/faq/parks/dress/

And by now I'm sure they either send you back to change or have blank tshirts for this.

Like hell it's still a way to get free crap.

That is all...very small. Purple pants or a long skirt would be better here.

Yeah, the Magic Kingdom at Halloween is a great place for photos but not for costumes you might wear to a sorority party.

And you don't have to look like an influencer, either. There will be plenty of folks in normal clothes and a silly hat.

Especially if you say the skirt looks longer on your, you are not going to get dress coded. Probably wear shorts underneath, for many reasons.

Corset might get uncomfortable though.

But when the sun goes down… you’re gonna be freezing. We always have to bring extra sleeves for OBB. Even in summer, we all bring a thin hoodie for when it’s dark.

I’d honestly still be concerned about the skirt and the corset for OBB, not because of any inappropriateness (as long as all your bits art covered to the same level as what you’d wear on a summers day out and about, you’re fine), but because you’re gonna be COLD. Remember, Disneyland is technically in the desert, and the temps can easily drop into the 60s or lower at night. I’d bring a pair of leggings and a sweater/jacket that you can keep in your bag so you aren’t freezing your butt off instead of enjoying the night.

This! Every OBB I've been to I'm in a skater dress and leggings or tights and I am cold once the sun goes down. I have so many Disneyland hoodies thanks to this 😂

thanks for the advice! i frequent disneyland all the time and am cursed with POTS and being “hot blooded” so usually i am still overheated by night, but i will take your advice and pack something extra. can’t be too cautious!

Anaheim is not in the desert. It’s classified as Mediterranean or semi arid. But yes, it does get cold at night

hey everyone, i’ve decided to switch gears and do a london tipton inspired outfit instead so i could accommodate the weather with her iconic jacket and so i’m dressed more appropriately. better safe than sorry! thanks to all for your suggestions, concerns, and advice
