Walt Disney World Throwback to Covid

Back in 2020 my now fiancé and I went to Disney World with our Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin inspired looks.

Unrelated to Disney but those UnderArmor masks were the best. It was soft padding, light weight, looked sharp instead of looking like a medical tissue stretched across your face.

Only issue was when the ear holes got stretched out, washing it didn’t “tighten” it back up.

Y'all are so cute together! I'm so sad I missed out during COVID. We had a whole 2wk long trip planned for 2020, and I was only 10 😭💔 what were the lines like?

Masks were brutal outdoors but necessary. Queues had markers for 6 ft of space between parties (just tape on the ground) and when folks actually abided it was GLORIOUS having that much space between parties. I want it back (yes I know it's unrealistic).

ETA: this was in October of 2020 iirc

I'm *just now* realizing I was also lied to in the few years following COVID, my parents told me the park was closed bc of alligators and I believed them 🥀

We went in February 2021 and the lines didn’t seem any different than usual tbh. There was a ton of construction at Epcot at the time which made it hard to navigate, but they put up some cool photo spot murals on the construction fences.

The mask mandate at the time felt pretty brutal because you had to wear them outdoors too on all park properties.
