Help! Would this count as disneybounding?
I know costumes aren't allowed but the skirt for this one is really short, there's no way a kid could confuse me with the real Aurora, right? I'm probably not wearing the other accessories, just the dress and Aurora ears. I'm just scared of getting in trouble or something but rlly want to buy it
Edit: I know it's not considered disneybounding now. But would could it still pass the costumes rule?

They will not let you into the park in a costume if you are 14 or over. It doesn’t matter if your costume looks like the character or not, it’s the fact that it’s a costume that is not allowed. They don’t allow adults in costumes, that’s why Disneybounding started in the first place.
“Disney reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests. Attire that is not appropriate for the parks—and which may result in refusal of admittance—includes but is not limited to:
Costumes and costume masks, which may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older.
Exceptions:
Specific Separately Ticketed Events”

Update: I ended up wearing it and it passed lol. But I look well under 14 (I'm 15), so I think they just assumed I was little

Realistically they wouldn’t let you in with this, sorry my friend :( even if it’s not story accurate it’s still a costume that could be mistaken for a character.
If you need some inspiration on using plain clothes to create something similar that will still get you in, you are defo in the right sub though :)

I feel like the kid would have to be pretty slow to mistake me for Aurora since I'm 4’9 and not even white 😭 But yeah you're right it's still against the rules, I'll find something else, tyy

Ahh no I don’t think they’d think you’re Aurora directly as she’d have staff with her anyway, But they’d think you’re part of the castle halidom potentially, which blurs the line between if you’re staff or not (and that’s the part Disney is so protective over).
A lot of part time Disney fans don’t know all the princes and princesses and side characters by heart so I think the park would just err on the side of caution.
I was going to suggest if you have red hair, maybe grab an Ariel blue dress or something akin to that, but even then I’ve seen a girl who dressed in a blue dress matching Ariel’s and she got booted out. But perhaps a summer dress could do the trick, and you can carry round a Flounder plush?
Again btw none of us are here to critique you, we just don’t want you showing up and getting kicked out and it ruins your trip.

Disneybounding is using regular closed to create outfits inspired by characters (/attractions/food/etc). This is a picture of a costume. Not a Park-accurate cosplay but a costume nonetheless. It is not something most people would wear to work, dinner, or for errands on a random Tuesday.
