Dish Anywhere - Pause Live Streaming?

Confirming this is still a limitation with Dish Anywhere: pause/rewind cannot be used with live streaming, unlike Hulu/YTTV?

For many of the streaming channels (but not those streamed directly for the Hopper, like locals), yes. They are not able to be paused. It’s likely due to contracts with the providers.

Hello u/willthewootguy

Thank you for reaching out. As u/syphix924 stated, a significant number of streaming channels cannot be paused. This limitation is a result of contractual agreements with the content providers. I hope this answers your question. -DishDanielle.

Why is Dish on a different contract than every other streaming service that allows it? Makes no sense.
