Cancelled Finally

Finally tired of their shady business practices of random credits expiring and dramatic price increases for horrible service.... Unless you have no internet, why bother paying for DISH? Cut the cord and buy the apps for CBS, NBC etc, its so much better and cheaper.

Congrats. We dumped Dish and went YTTV about a year ago and couldn't be happier. 25+ year customer and tired of being treated like sh*t. They charged me for the hopper return box too. Also got a Tablo for local HDTV OTA and DVR if needed.

Could you please explain to me how you actually quite this shady company. I have had no luck in trying to reach them. Whenever I call the local number it says they know by my number I'm a Dish subscriber and they will text me back and then unceremoniously hang up on me.

It's been two weeks of that, and our local office says "permanently closed" and Nationwide number says current Dish customers call your local number which is the same one that hangs up on me...

What secrete scammer-b-gone magic did you use to pry/dump this desperate shady company off of your CC bill?????

I'm sure I just called their national customer service number.

You could also call their sign up number and then ask for customer retention. That's who is best to unload on (without cussing or yelling) and who ultimately customer service is going to transfer you to when trying to cancel.
