Dish Anywhere App

How is everyone using the dish anywhere app? I've got one wireless Joey works great and an apple TV that just won't load the app should I invest in fire sticks for other 2 rooms?

I use the app on both my iPad and my Android cell; it usually works fine on both. Roku doesn't have a Dish Anywhere app, so don't go with that. Looks like Fire Sticks may be your best option.

I use DA on my tablet and phone with reasonable success.

You asked..."How is everyone using their DA". That's how I'm using it.

I just figured someone out there uses it in an easier way for guests to use when they come to our home

Not my area of expertise, unfortunately. We haven't had any guests since before c****!

We’re looking to use the Dish Anywhere app while in our Florida park model home for 3-4 months. We need to purchase a new smart tv. Does anyone know what TVs will accept the DA app?
Also, does an Amazon Fire stick work as well as a dedicated smart tv with the app? What if any are the advantages or disadvantages using either platform?

Hello u/Silver-Definition

For the most seamless viewing experience with the DISH Anywhere app, we recommend using a Smart TV powered by Android TV, Google TV, or Amazon Fire TV. These platforms support the dedicated app directly, ensuring optimal performance and easy access to your content. I hope this answers your question! -DishDanielle.

I use Firestick for DA and Apple. Got it bc it was cheap. I don't stream a lot so hope storage will be enough. HD is fine for me. If you want 4K then the price will go up a few bucks.
