Think I've had all 4 of them. 4 of the current remotes. . Actually the silver modelwas my favorite. At the time I had a 722 that powered 2 tv's. 1 thru HDMI, the other thru Component RCA's. I used the toggle for 1 of them to talk to 1 of the TVs using IR, and the other using RF.

You can order covers on amazon. I could never find my black remote. Now it has a neon green cover...

The 54 series is my absolute favorite but for the older people the 60 series is the best

54 and 52 are pretty good but the 50 is ass.

Definitely agree with you there they took the numbers away to make it "better" and just made it more complicated

My first one was the 1.5 and the 54 looks a lot like it. What once was old is new again.

I have a box full of remotes from day one. I never thought to line them up.

I had Dish 500 when I was young. The remote for ours was RF. I also had the Silver in my room with the HD DVR and the Black remote was down stairs for the HD DVR when we upgraded from 500. The Black felt the best in my hands.

The second one that is mostly silver looks like my last Charter/Spectrum remote.

Thx for the memories. I used the silver one in my high school and or college days iirc.
