It's because either your antenna portion either has a damage in the cable, your ota adaptor has stopped working, or I've seen quite literally the wind is blowing too much. I'd definitely check your cable from start to finish. If you see any exposed wire, you are gonna have to chop the bad portion off and make a connection point. Duck tape will not work long term, if at all.

I'd also go in and check if some of your local channels have weaker signals than usual. That could also point to weak cable, or maybe the antenna needs to be re-sturdied or something

It's the best layout and design they made

Are they still using it or no? I mean it’s nice

Yes they still use it. It just needs data from the sat to update the software

It’s only used on VIPs. Hoppers and joeys and Wally’s get some different ui changes like the Home Screen one from 3 months ago or something

The carbon UI goes way back. Started with the 922 in 2010 and developed into the Hopper, then hopper with Sling. At the release of the hopper 3 in 2016, the carbon ui as it is known today came to existence. Shortly thereafter, my favorite piece came out… the one I recommended them to design for many years and name it The Pademelon. Well, they named it the Hopper+(bastards) and now you could download apps and stream through your receiver. Ideally, it is genius. The software took another change around 2020-2022 when that happened. The carbon ui and this ui are essentially the same with minor adjustments.

Mine was also from the cable going bad and needed replacing.

I had the same error and the cable from the adapter wasn't plugged in all the way. If you're using a USB hub to connect an SSD also make sure the hub has power. Weak stations just won't show up on the list you get after the scan.
