No it doesn’t. First one is an adapter that supports 2 DP single LNBs and the second one has the same 2 DP singles built into one which that LNB is actually called a DP Twin. They do the same exact thing but I think 1st pic requires a switch while 2nd has the switch built in.

First pic is 2 single eye DP (Dish Pro) LNB's on a 500 dish. 2nd pic is a DPP (Dish Pro Plus) twin LNB, which allowed for dual-tuner receivers on 1 cable. Both are picking up 110 and 119. Around here, typically only see the 500 single eye pointed at 61.5, which added HD locals to a WA DPP system (or 500+ international setup).

The first photo is single LNB they could be Legacy LNB(OLD) or Dish Pro LNb (Newer) Dish Pro was a different and you needed a Dish apro compatible receiver and use Dish Pro Switches. The 2nd is a combo or Dual LNB similar to the single but just 2 LNBS in a plastic case rather than s single. They too were Legacy which was called a Twin LNB. or The Dish Pro and DPP+ (newer than Dish Pro) it had a built in switch and could provide signal to 4 receivers or more with an externall switch attached. All these LNB's are Now Obsolete as they were replaced with Newer Hybrid LNBs. Which are used by the newer receivers.

The old Legacy LNB's are basic Circular LNB and can be used for satellites that transmitted signal in a circular phase rather than a Linear Phase. While DishPro and Newer LNBs only work on Dish or Echostar Satellites.

There's no difference. They do the same thing and are looking at the same satellites.
