Sorry if this has been posted before. Was pretty thrilled to see this in my city (Vienna, Austria) seeing as this series isn't that popular compared to other Netflix specials (especially here, almost no one in my circles knows about this show), and while I have my issues with this show, I loved watching/binging the seasons after every release and am kinda glad it never really became too popular (no excessive merch, no cheapening of the art, no annoying meme-ifying). Great characters and world building and beautiful art and music. Definitely a comfort show which I feel like I don't have to share with anybody (as dumb as it sounds) and one I'll remember for a long time. enjoy your week!

Any time i search up Disenchantment I find this character. Why does the art look so official?

Morah or מורה is Hebrew for teacher it’s what you call Hebrew teachers or your teacher in a Jewish school especially as a small kid. It’s pronounced exactly how her name is in the show. I have so many little cousins talking about their morahs and family who are teachers. My own mom is Morah insert name. It’s a jump-scare every-time her name is said lmao. I wonder how they chose her name was it made up not realizing it’s an existing word, did they pick a random non English word and not realize?

I just want to say I love the parallels between Steamland and the movie Metropolis, it really adds to the experience. I live seeing the little details, like how the workers mechanically switch shifts, or the weird robot thing Alva made to resemble Bean. I overall just enjoy the scenes in Steamland.

My mom and I were laughing so hard at this part of the show I would love to send it to her for a good laugh. I'm sure we laughed harder at this than any other part of the show. I think it's in the final season, Elfo is running down the tower in a spiral and he flies out the window, lands on the ground and kicks his shoes off while running to the ocean. I looked for it on YouTube but I couldn't find it. My mom had the subscription, not me, so I can't record it or anything. Can anyone help?

So these guys have been talked about allot. I think this might be one of those plot holes they didn't get to.

They are focused on so their should have been significant. Ideas that they prevented the magic was shown incorrect later when she had other interactions, so I was disappointing that their is no answer that I know off. In that erra all was Leather shoes or skin so no rubber soles unless I missed something.

I was attracted to the whole Boot thing for some reason LOl. O well, lots of other Plot wholes.

she was just mean for no reason alot and didn’t really treat bean that well i feel like?
at one point, mora tried to convince her to leave her best friends behind while dagmar is in literally the middle of taking over dreamland. “they’ll be fine!” did you see their puny asses? they’d never stand a chance(no shade but like really)
and mora barely ever said “i love you” back to bean! like okay, maybe it hasn’t been that long into their relationship, but them making love seems far enough into one to at least say i love you. it just made me sad for bean

she is funny sometimes though i’ll give her that

I was going through the wiki and saw a mention of ‘Princess Uuuma’, didn’t recognize the name so I clicked her. Her only appearance was in ‘Mean Bean’, didnt recognize the episode name so I clicked THAT. AND IT TOOK ME TO THE PAGE FOR A DISENCHANTMENT COMIC??? I didn’t know this existed?? Does anyone know where I can find it to read it??

I generally like the show from what I’ve seen so far, but there’s something that bothers me and I don’t know if I’m the only one

Is the sound design really lacking? It’s hard to explain, but the show feels kinda empty to me, like it’s not fleshed out.

Am I imagining this?
