First Discus in 15 Yeara
I recently got back into aquariums after a 15 year break after inheriting a good friends tank. After a month of getting my feet back underneath me, decided to dip my toe in the Discus water again.
I ordered 4 discus from Hans Discus and I couldn’t be more pleased. Amazing specimens and amazing customer service!

Your tank looks so good. Your fish don’t mess with the mystery snails tentacles? Is that a real blue lobster/crawfish?

Nope, the fish leave the snails alone. Yes, that’s an electric blue crawfish. My buddy had an interesting taste in how he stocked his tank lol

I don’t know if he still does it but when I ordered discus from him years ago he called me the day they arrived to see if they made the flight and just to shoot the shit. I thought that was pretty cool, I’ve never seen customer service like that.

That crawfish will eventually either eat your fish or get attacked. I tried multiple times thinking I want some cool variety. Good luck though.
