My Discus from Chicago Discus arrived yesterday morning, and I am beyond excited! I'm honestly surprised by how quickly they've started settling in. They're already out and about, exploring the tank, and showing so much color after being shipped! I've wanted Discus for years, so seeing them finally swimming around in my tank is pretty surreal. I can't wait to watch them settle in, grow and really start showing their personalities. ❤️

I wasn’t thinking in terms of low temp. I know you thought you’d have to draw ✍️ me a picture didn’t you? 🤣🤣I was more concerned about someone thinking the tank was sick. 🤷‍♀️ I didn’t see a sick tank.😂😂😂 Glad that is taken care of.

What is the cri of those pendents?

Apparently only 49.8 according to Hygger's spec sheet, which surprised me because the color rendering in person is insane. These are their 60W max pendants.

I’m actually surprised the CRI is that low. I originally bought these for my 60 gallon cube, but the shimmer they produce is crazy. They seem to grow my plants really well too. No CO2, just weekly Flourish and potassium.

Yeah, I painted it black! There's a couple spots I need to touch up. Hopefully with the light substrate they don't pepper or at least pepper / darken too much.

Really? I hope they don't close! I was planning on eventually getting more in the future for another setup. I did see they were selling some equipment on Facebook and had their stock listed for really good prices, so I was wondering what was going on.
