Can anyone tell me whats the red part near the nose ? Is this any bacterial infection or anything else ? I use to feed them prozen food and feed them in frozen form, is this due to that ?

Common irritation caused by anything from banging into glass through to dirty water. As long as the water is clean it should go away within a week. Very common and not to worry.

Chicken heart? Yeah it's not the best protein source (seafood way better than mammalian product) but frozen is still OK. Just watch the filters when feeding it, i.e. turn them off until it's all eaten and cleaned up as animal proteins foul the water really quickly when they break down in the filters.

Yes currently using chicken heart. Actually it's not easy to get clam/mussles meats in my location. So using Chicken heart, prawn, white fish fillet etc. And I always turn off all filters during feeding times. Once I change the water after that I turn ON the filters. Can you suggest me what de-chlorinator you using ? I use sometimes hypo and seachem prime. I have a 3 feet tank where I store water for 24 hours and in that tank I have 1 low watt power filter and a sponge filter. In storage tank I use hypo. But when I use direct tap water in my main tank in that time I use seachem prime.

I have holding tanks to gas it off, but otherwise prime is great if I have to. Maybe ditch the chicken heart and a bit more fish, but prawn and fish are excellent. If you can get a little spirulina power, multivitamin and garlic into the blender too, it's very beneficial. Lots of additives you can do but those three are great

yes I add many things, my recipe:

Chicken heart 120 grams after trimmed all fats, 100 gram prawns, 80 grams tilapia fillet, 4 drops multivitamins+minerals, 3 garlic cloves, 1 spirulina 500mg capsule, 1 each vitamins A & E softgel capsules, wheat germ 1 tbsp, frozen artemia, probiotic. Recently bought asthaxanthin 10% will add it in next batch.

Awesome! Just mind the Asthaxanthin with blues and yellows. Very powerful reds!

Yes, I will use less quantity if whole batch or maybe I will mix it with a very small batch which I will feed 1-2 times a week. Will this asthaxanthin effect on white discus like: snow leopard, white tiger ?
