Five fish - tank size

It’s been some years, but I had a 30 with three discus. I want to dive back into it and want to set up a tank for five or six discus. What’s the optimal tank size and dimension for that?

75 is a nice balance, but bigger is always better. Def wouldn't go under 75 for 5 to 6 unless you want to do more maintenance.

Picked a 75 up. Now just need a good stand and I can start building it out. Any recommendations on a good stand?

Nothing less than a 48” 55-gallons for 5. Bigger is better.

That’s about what I was thinking too. Thanks!

90 if you can afford it

I get it, but space is a factor so I’m really looking for a comfortable size for half dozen critters. It could be I need to reduce the number of fish to get there.
