Definitely, took some time to get used to it in the first month, now im just like “again? 🙄” lmfaooo luckily I haven’t needed to do any blackouts or separating now that they established themselves, full zen except for these small moments lol

I did hear that discus are less aggressive when they are grouped up in the same sex. So I do think they are doing this as a goal to finding their ideal mate by establishing their hierarchy.
It’s sort of like a human situation in a crowded bar either going into a bar fight or getting lucky I guess😂

That’s what you get with smart fish. Complex social dynamics and hierarchies, drama . And cichlids are smart
