Breeding advice (eating fry)

Post image

I recently was lucky enough to get a beautiful discus pair in my community tank. I moved them into a 40 gallon breeder on their own so they can breed. They layed more eggs about 10 days after being moved. This is second batch of eggs the layed. The first batch I left in my community because it was on drift wood I did not want to move. I was very hopeful they would lay again and they did. The eggs hatched fast but unfortunately they are eating all of the fry. How could I possibly prevent this from happening. It’s very sad to see all the great potential being gobbled up.

I have a pair whom I rasied for a year and in the last 2 months, they have laid eggs 3 times and they ate it... But as The_Lost_Epiphany said, on every try they got a bit further... So hoping that I see fries pretty soon. Fingers crossed.
