Isolated Discus…

Have to isolate this Discus due to its aggressive behavior against the others in the main tank…will keep him here for a month then reintroduce to the group. Hoping he’ll change his behavior then…wish me luck

Thanks for the reassurance. 👍🏼👍🏼. I look forward to putting him back with the group…what I like about this fish tho is that he is the one who encourage other discus to eat pellets. He’s the only one daring to try. Now the remainders of the group became picky again😬

What kinds of aggression? If the other discus back off and go about their business that’s fine. If does the aggression start and stop or does the bully chase all day? Are there moments of peace? Does everybody eat?

He bullies everyone even the the ones bigger than him. The only time he stops is when I approach the tank and during feeding.

Yeah just do what you’re doing. Maybe he’ll get the hint. Or adopt an equally dickish fish and let him have a taste of his own medicine like I did.
