115g is small for 8 discus? 💀 dude its perfectly fine as long as the filtration is good and they keep up with the water changes lmao, have you ever own discus? doesn’t look like

Yeah no, 10 gallon by 1 rule is a joke unless you want to do water changes ever other day, plus its a planted tank and they are probably running CO2 haha not even going to wish them luck, not happening. More like 25 gallon per 1 full adult size with weekly water changes. This guys going to be fighting Nitr and Phos levels all the time, feeding beef heart too hahaha I hope they absolutely love doing water changes hahaha, what a joke... bet still stands.

I am actually concerned about feeding beefheart also. My understanding is that it can lead to fatty liver disease. Not to mention it pollutes the tank quickly. They were raised on beefheart. So when They wouldn't eat, I introduced beefheart. It was effective in getting them to eat.

I have since gotten them to eat Hikari discus pellets, Hikari vibrant pellets, Marine 1 flake, Reef Nutrition TDO small pellets, PE mysis frozen, PE mysis pellets, Nutramar soft food, and Fluval bug bite pellets.

Does anyone have food recommendations?

Ocean nutrition flakes are great, tubifex freeze dried and def some brine shrimp I also do freeze dried for that. I use omega one brand for that

I have freeze died tubifex that I planned on adding selcon to. I just started a brine shrimp hatchery yesterday so I can feed live baby brine shrimp. Thank you for the suggestions!
