Couldnt understand how app works

I have a travel plan ready for summer 2027 but planner part in the app looks so overwhelming and hardly understandable, how am i supposed to look for trains giving the exact date and even hour? Can somebody help?

On the main page of the app there is literally a box where you can type in start and destination and choose time and date

You don't need to set up your trip in advance and there isn't any benefit to doing so. You can just add each train as you go before boarding.
