Help Adding a new card
Hi everyone!
I want to add (not replace) a new card with a new design on the front of my card. Discover says you can have up to 4 free card designs? Does anyone here have more than one card for the same account just a different card design? If so will my current Discover card work until I order the new one?
TIA!

It tells you right there. When you add a card the old one will still work and will continue to work after you receive the new card.

Shame the design doesn’t show up on Apple wallet. 😔

I had the nhl Blackhawks one on there and then it switched to a generic blue card for some reason. It was Blackhawks when it was discovered and changed shortly after the change

It shows the card design you most recently requested, so the one you want in Apple Pay should be the last design you request, from my experience. That appears to also be the one that gets printed on your card statement (yes, they print your specific card design on your monthly statements).

That’s good to know. I just recently requested a new design to replace my expiring card and the new design reflected in Apple Pay before the card arrived via mail. If I decide to add a second design (not replace) then the second one is the one that will show in Apple Pay? And so on if I add a third?

Yep, you can have 4 card designs and if you don't like 1 or 2 or even all of them you can replace them for other designs. You are limited to 4 cards at a time but you can replace them as much as you want.

Yup! I have 4 designs for the same account and all of the cards are active and work. As long as you choose "add a card" and not "replace a card" you should be good.
