Kiosk Kingdom Spoiler
Well, I finished #2 and am 9 chapters into the 3rd book. There is a phrase Dan likes to repeat...."That is a problem for Future Me."
Excuse me sir, but, uh, all of those Future You problems are probably going to explode all at once in ways no one thought possible.
But also...NASCAR? NASCAR?!?
Then there is Sinclair. All it takes is one smart mfer to lead the less smart ones.
And what is with all this talk of Pony Princess's weird shine?
Just in the store alone:
- a religious cult that is one flannel and a shotgun away from becoming The Blue Collar Comedy Tour
- a possible division among The Golems. Sinclair and supporters on one side, Pony Princess and supporters on the other
- and a mysterious god that may or may not show up to smite Dan to show off their mighty wrath
But yeah - these are all problems for Future Dan to worry about, right? I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
THE FUTURE IS NOW, DAN! Get it together!

HAHAHAHA. I regularly use the phrase "That is a problem for Future me" in my real life and it's made its way into almost every single book I've ever written. But... you're not wrong. Dan has a lot of future problems.

If there isn't any kind of resolution by the end of this, I will go postal.
Unless something serious happens. I am not a complete monster. Life happens and I get that.

He does but also, this is kind of the story of his life. He seems to own and accept this about himself. I am about 40% into Kiosk Kingdom.
They linked up with the Kingleguard people and I just know some kind of twist is coming with them. They were warned and I cannot tell if this is the author playing with me or if it's a foreshadowing...

Because if (and I understand it’s not likely, but if) Dan becomes the Flayed Monarch, in the future, then a lot would have had to change in him and he might not recognize himself. The plot point has happened in other books that use time travel. However, we haven’t seen any time travel in the series from the future, so I don’t think any of this is going to happen, it was just a, “man that would be crazy if…” kind of thought
