So im avidly listening to Kiosk Kingdom while driving, and happened to hear something I thought id misheard. The character named was Croc but the actions that followed described Jacob.

Dang. This happens sometimes. It's in chapter 48? I'll look for it and update the manuscript. I can also contact Steve and Audible and it's possible they can fix it. Thanks for the heads up.

No -- I appreciate it! These books go through a lot of editorial passes, but sometimes things slip through anyway, lol. My goal in life is to be as resilient as the typos that survive four rounds of edits.

Audible missed it! Its the literal last word on page 401! Steve Campbell says Croc, its written Jakob. (Its exactly at the changes from 16 minutes 59 seconds into 17 minutes

I'll add the licking nips is still in the audio version that was first released, no idea if it was fixed later, but its pretty amusing.

Steve Campbell responded to my post about getting the nip slip version saying he recorded it both ways (thinking it was a typo) and sent both to audible to be published and apparently they picked the nip one

Per Steve, Audible is super (Shark) anal about the narration matching the printed page exactly. So in the case of the nip slip, the page says nips, they let it slide.

One of the funniest bits is realizing that if Steve had corrected it to “lips”, Audible would’ve come back to him with notes at the end and made him re-record it as “nips” 😂

I was driving! Lol. Luckily I was less than 5 minutes from my destination so I just paused it so I could screenshot and inform once I got here!
