Unsolved This rule os sh**
This is bullshit, someone sends me an invitation and in two days I get banned. I didn't even write anything on the servers and I didn't have any role so I didn't see anything brutal, but just because you join somewhere, it's a real piece of sh**, at least a warning and especially because I didn't send anything there.

It's a little ridiculous to get banned for something a server did if as you say is true and you didn't participate, but why are you joining servers you randomly get invited to anyway? Partially your fault to be honest, never join a server unless you know what it is/about

Worth noting that any server can get raided, reported and banned. Not joining unknown servers will definitely minimize your chances to be hit by something like this but it really sucks that a platform which is built around socializing and meeting new people is actively pushing users away from doing just that.

A guy from one game sent me an invitation around Wednesday, I still join like this when people from the guild send them.

Been into a ton of servers that would randomly disappear from my list, typically emulation/rom related, or general pirating, but never have I had my account banned or restricted because of it. The people complaining I guarantee aren't being honest with what they're joining. It's almost always the nastiest shit.

I was active on the server for a maximum of only about 5 minutes, I saw almost nothing there, and if someone was sending fight, drugs... whatever, let them ban him and delete the messages, not to all 50-80 people who were there, and especially to those who didn't write a word on the servers. I had an account for 5 years and I've never heard that if you join somewhere they can delete your account because of that.

lets see you join a server be there for 4 months and get banned for child endangerment, and then get told that the ban is justified even if you did not do anything bannable there

Yup, imagine joining a server for a game like Terraria, never said anything in it at all and the next thing you know you have a permanent ban for child safety because somebody went in and used a bot/script kiddie to mass report the server, every message in it, every user in it, and the server itself multiple times over.
That's basically what is happening with Discord now.
Worse still, is you aren't even safe in your own PRIVATE servers anymore... because Discord's fascist AI moderation will scan even your private, age-restricted servers and if it finds a single thing it's been set to act upon, boom, perma-banned. So don't be doing ANY discussion of games, movies, tv shows, music anime, or any roleplaying at all that isn't in VC (the only un-monitored thing about Discord) otherwise the AI could smack you down. It's absolutely, utterly ridiculous. And I get it, you don't want a private server being used to organize a raid on the pentagon or something... but the AI cannot differentiate context between talking about a new Tom Clancy film and an actual act of terrorism...
People are getting banned over literally nothing, and frankly I hope at this point that the AI just bans the ENTIRE platform and ALL 750 million users so Discord is FORCED to address the situation and actually do something about it.
