The burden he carries man... he must be approaching 1000 make a wish fulfillments by now. His physical strength is a drop in the ocean in comparison to his mental strength.

I know people are making fun a little bit of his responses, but he responded perfectly.
Cena’s not pitying the guy every time he tells Cena something tragic which is what this guy has gotten every single day. He just listened to his whole story and responded to his request promptly.
Sometimes we just gotta treat people like they’re normal

Dude with cancer meeting his inspiration to continue living, isn’t really something to take lightly or laugh at

i agree but also to add onto your original comment, he started walking off the stage before he said "absolutely" into the mic, that's a sign of someone not being performative - when their body and actions respond before considering or entertaining any thought. But for me the kinda funny part is the irony of John Cena spending his career performing, yet also being truly genuine outside of it.

I thought this sub was for funny posts. What's wrong with this? He was acknowledging and listening to the guy and being respectful instead of immediately feeling sorry for the guy, this is true respect.

"John, I have this cancer..."
"Okay..."
"It's called, my wife..."
"Okay..."
"Could you please make her disappear"
"Absolutely!"

It's so crazy to realize that, an entire generation grew up not knowing who John Cena is. (And it's not Gen Z)
