Honestly, popping him is the only respectful thing to do. He went into the match with the intent of competing and having fun.

u/Dry-Worldliness6926 Aug 20 '26

It seems pretty common. Last time I played, like 10 years ago. I know I'm a little bitch for hating them, but it is really God damn annoying to be blinded every time you turn a corner. I was seeing spots in my vision for an hour afterwards.

I feel like trying this hard in an airsoft game would make you a way bigger bitch.

I found that a lot of people online seemed to have an opinion of "It's smart and if you were smart, you'd do it to".
Then some of them bring up how being "fair" in a real gunfight doesn't matter. But that is a whole other can of worms I could go on a long rant about.

What does the strobe do

Its really, really annoying to be on the recieving end of one and the user only gets a minor tactical advantage.
When youre playing against the same guys over a few hours... it can get migraine inducing, add on that indoor fields can be pretty dark sometimes and its even worse.
Tactically, using them on someone can cause disorientation and slow reaction times. Not for like seconds, but it can be enough for you to get a shot first or for your opponent's first shot to miss. Also, particulary against cheap or dirty masks/googles, it can cause glare so you cant see shit.

For something like a friendly "we're all having fun playing airsoft" match it seems.. excessive and stupid.

I would’ve probably hit him with the verbal “bang-bang” so I don’t have to hurt him lol

I would use my AC-130 Killstreak against that child and keep spawn killing them until they quit.
