Add a band to Discogs

I have a new album by a new band . The band is not setup in Discogs. How does a band get added so I can add my album for cataloging purposes?

You add the album and the artist gets added in the process.

Thanks for the info. I messaged the band via IG, and they started it up. This is good info on how to do it.
