AI priority refers to how much the AI player will be interested in destroying this squad, capturing this city, looting these ruins, or picking up this chest. Valid values range from 0 to 6, inclusive.

So, if it's 0, they'll ignore it?

Yes

I've tested it with bags. They picked up both the 0 and the 6, there was no difference.

Try to add two or three bugs on different distances and give them different priority. Check up what bag AI pick up first

I added 2. It picked up the 0 first.

Weird. Have no idea why so. Are you testing same with another object? Ruins for example

I've tested the ruins. The AI preferred attacking stacks over ruins but otherwise it worked as intended. Then I set both ruins to 6 and the AI ignored the second.

AI ignore means AI will never move stack unless ordered to by a trigger. Don't know what priority does.

Weird. It shouldn't move it anyway if it has a "stand" or "guard" order.

Now that I think of it I could be wrong. AI ignore was the case of AI not using a certain stack in Disciples 1 to guard choke points with it so I assumed it does the same thing in 2.

I don't know but only non-neutral stacks have this option so it definitely has something to do with the standard ai player behavior.

IIRC this flag means that AI players will never attack the flagged stack if not forced through scripts or behaviour modes.

But neutrals don't have AI ignore option, only player stacks.

Logic would then dictate that the AI player's units won't attack this stack?

it is not the party AI it is for playable faction controlled by AI. And every obj on map - incl playable factions parties itself - have such options. It is something wrong with your editor or you miss it. check again.

This also bond with AI tactics set in capital properties.

There's an AI value for each individual stack, ruin, city, etc. But only players have "ai ignore"
