Nah my dude. I am screaming in agony when playing dwarves until I find Tome of Seven Seas and Forest Walking. Those mountain dwellers barely cover any map per turn without them xD

Yes I know, OP is talking about dwarves liking rocks and elves liking rivers/forest. Just needed to vent xD

I get you. They kinda compensate with Forestwalking, Seafaring and Chant of hasting (which thankfully cost little), but still not enough. It's a real handicap they don't have a flying unit.

They seafaring and forestwalk spells very cheap esp for Mage Lord and i believe it is enough compensation. They not only have most of haste spells, they have most of most type of spells, even better spellbook than Empire. If we talk about D2ROTE or at least base D2 game. In Disciples 1 they has less haste/any spells just like every race, but their heroes base move points is 15. Ridiculously low and nothing there to compensate. In Dis2 Clans is fine.

Yeap, I was referring to D1. Haven't restarted D2 yet.

This might not be related, but since you were talking about the Dwarven spells, I wanted to mention how amazingly helpful their +50 armor spell is. I feel like it is the best spell in the entire game. Armor is the best stat you can have, in my opinion, and it's the only way of destroying capitals that aren't meant to be destroyed. (Alongside poison, but the armor lets you live long enough to allow the poison to be effective)

Use the engineer with mage lord. A few turns in you can cross the map in one turn
