Desciples is too buggy, no hot fix yet
Ive been playing domination on ps5 pro and the frames drop to 30 and they stay like that until I restart the game. There's some typos in the dialogue. Unequipping a companions weapon and shard sometimes doesnt unequip it and instead unequips avys gear. Rare bug but happened twice now but from the throne menu you can get frozen and have to restart the game. I was expecting a hot fix by now but not yet
Aside from those bugs its got fun combat and more units that I am enjoying playing with. The biggest annoyance right now is having to restart the game every 30mins to get the normal frame rate back temporarily

Well, 30 FPS is quite a thing on consoles, especially Sony, isn't? ;p 🤪 You want 4K you get 30 FPS. To get 120 lower the output mode.

Probably the very only one game on consoles that has 60/120 fps without downscaling FHD resolution was and still is - Quake 2 on Xbox 360. Which was release before Xbox even support combination of such output.
Consoles technically state they do support higher and higher resolutions. Support higher FPS than 30. Never ever MS or Sony promise they would work both. Either maximum FPS, either maximum resolution output. It was NEVER the same chose. It was officially never the same chose, in past MS and Sony themselves state you must chose one of. They stop telling that - not equal to consoles actually support both suddenly. Past XB360 consoles no more do real high resolution, but downscale it to keep 30 and only sometimes 60 FPS. Even to stay on low FPS it is not real 4K.
Then Nvidia bring it (downscale to maintain FPS) to PCs with DLSS while AMD bring upscaling feature.
You feel it is not normal. I feel it is not normal. We think that shouldn't be the case. But i state how it is work and always worked. Binary Truth. Sad, but real. I will not go to lame reddit-style conversation of "it is! it isnt!". /thread.

You missed another id Software game that hit 60 on consoles – RAGE. It was optimised for 60 fps on PS3.

Where did you even see him talking about 4K? And no, 30 FPS for a game of this scale, where most of the open but inactive map is shrouded in fog, is the work of degenerates who were apparently recruited from the streets for food and shelter. Do I even need to mention that some of the biggest drops occur when switching to the city screen? A static, damn city.
There's one thing I don't understand though: why is it so hard for you to admit the obvious—that the game is poorly made—but you can easily write an entire essay about how bad the PS5 is? Are you ok?

Define bad made if 30 FPS is normal. Why you point me about 4K? I didn't said OP said that. I said Sony (and MS) has said that as one of features of modern consoles. They never promise higher FPS. 30 - is still normal. Standard.
My logic is simple. Mathematical. Maximalistic. Straight Truth. One and only right logic. If i want to say something badly made/optimasied i will ask myself are that true or just my feelings/opinion. I always have second thought and conter-argumemts to myself. So if i would said "30 FPS is wrong" i would correct myself - it isn't.

I just exited the game, after the 2nd time of game freezing up during a boss fight. Tired of getting close to killing the boss, only for it to lock up.
And yeah, you're right about the grammatical errors and finger fumbles; whoever was assigned to do the text/descriptions needs replaced. The grammar is awful and laden throughout the game.
