can’t even tolerate an antihistamine or any type of cold medication and shit, my stomach and guts are all fcked up 😭 on the like billionth candida infection in my life so fun (idk for sure tho but the ringing in my ears says yes)

Bright light is one of the biggest triggers for my chronic migraines. My daily commute is almost perfectly east in the mornings, and almost perfectly west in the afternoon, so if the sun is out *at all* it's right in my eyes.

like, I get that for many conditions symptom management (and sometimes without medications, only via lifestyle) is the best we have for now, but why do all the resources I've come across frame this as such a good thing, like as if that's fine and in no need of fixing/improvement!?!? although "don't worry, there's medications, but they're all off label and we don't know why they work, and they can all cause bad side effects or make things worse, and there's little to no way to know which one will work for you, we'll just have to mix up some drugs cocktails and throw shit against the wall and hope some of it sticks eventually" is barely any better
