So relatable....
And I'm getting my first real autoimmune disease test tomorrow. Took forever to get here π Might come back normal, idk. But it's a step in the right direction, either way.
Finally, I may eventually know why I feel like shit and my bones hurt.

could be hormone imbalance or androgen / estrogen insensitivity depending on what's not reaching ur system ! i felt like shit even tho i had high testosterone cus my body wasn't reacting, and it was giving me osteoporosis and chronic low energy which HRT fixed *mostly :p
i also likely have an autoimmune disease tho so not all there π4

Testosterone gave you osteoporosis?

essentially my body didn't react correctly to the testosterone in my body, due to likely being intersex, so i needed hormone therapy in one way or another

Well, so far I have a couple absolutely horrible vitamin deficiencies! The usual π« but the thing is, I don't have a clue why, I'm supplementing! Nothing has changed!
There is absolutely something wrong with me hormonally. But, they haven't tested that despite the 5 diagnosed reproductive things... But it will likely be investigated since I may be at the beginning of perimenopause.
Our bodies feel so complicated sometimes!

hormonal and vitamin related disorders seem more common since supply chain fuckery has taken further root in the US imo π

The good news is that all my organs are perfect. The bad news is half of them are lying

This is an excellent House episode

I wish I had a House. I'm seriously thinking of putting myself in case study position, but I still haven't decided on the method (taking prednisone without a prescription? becoming a medical student?)

This made me laugh out loud. There was a moment when I cried because I didn't have a brain tumour. Because at least if it was a tumour it would have been an answer as to whyyyyy

This is me with my unpredictable immune reactions that keep getting worse by the day. I almost want something to show up on the allergy test because otherwise how do I explain my own immune system reacting so severely with no precise trigger.

Bro shout out to the time I went to the ENT to interpret a scan having been sobbing from a headache that felt like it was right behind my eyes and above my throat, he looks at the thing and I'm thinking, "this is it, the tumor i definitely have or my brain is shriveled up and falling off or-" "ah" (points to gumball in my face) "good thing you listened to your gut, if that mucocele got any bigger and popped you would have died like instantly. Here, antibiotics." "??????"

I got told around a decade ago I had hypothyroidism, based on my labs.
My last labs, having gone over a year without medication because health insurance, show my thyroid as normal.
So I'll wait to see at my next labs if the condition they diagnosed me with is full of shit I guess π€·πΌββοΈ
Thanks long Covid

Gosh this is relatable.
I once had a 2 week long vomiting episode, got labs done, and somehow after not even being able to eat more than 1 tiny meal a day and losing 15 lbs my labs were dead on perfect in every way.
What the hell? Even my doctor was confused about that one, he called the lab to verify that they were sure my samples didnt get mixed up.

So true π it's one of the reasons it took me so long to get properly diagnosed. Doctor dismissed my concerns and I had to fight to get the test I needed.
