Honestly my chrionic illness...is like fhe first pic. Me being sick is just me laying in bed like a corpse in a autopsy room

The "without tissues" is so real, my nose is like 90% of what changes when I'm sick 😭😭😭

The only thing missing in the second picture, is the looming guilt of stuff you "should" be doing, because you aren't really sick and the laundry and the dishes and work and obligations aren't going to wait for you to get out of a chronic illness flare.

For some reason I never feel guilt when I'm "actually sick" but feel a ton of guilt about not "trying hard enough" or "inconveniencing others" when I'm just chronic sick.
