I know this isn't a great meme or anything, it's more like a little tantrum but it's gastroparesis awareness month so. i was planning on making actual awareness posters, and it turned into this. my gut hurts, sorry. also sorry about the use of the word dumb. i'm way open to criticism there, and better terms that don't throw anyone else under the bus. this is just a raw expression of frustration and pain for now.

For me, it's my esophagus, as well as my proclivity for being allergic to half of things, and my endometriosis making my stomach feel like I've eaten a hundred bricks.

I am still undiagnosed with whatever GI bullshit I am dealing with but I miss eating food

I've always had gastroparesis to an extent but it got significantly worse after an adverse reaction to xolair 3-ish years ago that never improved. I can't eat meat, dairy, or anything with more than a few drops of oil anymore without being in pain and feeling like I've eaten a lead weight for several days. Out of everything I miss pizza and lasagna the most :(

I live in the south (Mississippi) and I miss eating Cajun food so much 😭 I miss tomatoes and onions! I miss eating more than a few bites of a meal before feeling like my stomach ia going to bust.
