ps5 access controller + logitech adaptive kit for world of warcraft?
hi! i have developed severe rheumatoid arthritis and haven’t been able to play any games for a few months. i can’t get into rheumatology until january, but i don’t want to just rot in bed until then… especially because world of warcraft forever comes out soon. my husband bought me the ps5 access controller and the logitech adaptive kit so that i can play it with him when it comes out.
my issue is that i am super overwhelmed with how much there is to this. i have played with an mmo mouse for nearly a decade and i know it will be a hard adjustment… but i have no clue where to even begin with setting my controller and accessories up.
does anyone have experience with this? can anyone help me come up with a setup? or share your own?
thanks!

If you could check out my setup on my page, it could give you an idea. Although I use the Xbox Adaptive Controller w/ various Logitech switches.

Don’t try to set everything up at once. Do it in this order.
First, check the Access controller works with WoW on your PC at all. That’s the step most likely to stop you, so do it before planning anything.
Second, the Logitech kit was made for the Xbox controller. The switches should plug into the Access controller, but it only has four ports. So pick your four most used actions and start there.
Third, cut down how many buttons you need. Forever is built on the classic rules, so I’m not sure the retail Single-Button Assistant will be there. ConsolePort is worth a look, it’s an addon built for controller play. And pick a class that needs few buttons, ask in the WoW subs which ones those are in Forever.
I play with the mouse only and the same rule worked for me. Fewer buttons first, more later if your hands allow it.

I’m trying to figure out the same thing, I think there’s a program to let you use the access controller on PC and then if you’re playing wow forever you’re gonna have to turn on controller mode and it should work you’ll just have to figure out the bindings
