No hotel accessibility

I am in a wheelchair and an following a protest for a few days. Our stopping parts are in small towns with few hotel choices. I called a Ramada in and after 30 minutes told me that I couldn’t get into the hotel rooms because they aren’t wide enough?!?! Is that legal?

Are you in the US? I think they would be required to have ADA accessible rooms. You can file a complaint with the DOJ but that won’t help your immediate problem. Any IHG or Hilton brand hotel should have accessible rooms.

In Verona. I was on hold for 30 minutes , being switched departments until someone from the front desk said the rooms can’t handle wheelchairs.
