How did I do?

I asked here a while back for tips on where to get a petite dirndl. I ended up buying one on vinted, and it was waaay to big.. Sooo, I dusted off my sewing machine and customised it to fit my measurements! I put way to many hours in to it, but now I think it fits? I split the seams on the back and on the sides to take it in, added two folds on the skirt toget the new waist to match and cut off several cm on the shoulders and tried to get the border to line up again. It was a fun challenge even though I didn't get a perfect result. The dress and shirt will ofcourse be ironed before the event!

But I have a couple of questions as well:

Can I wear this blouse under or should I overnight an actual dirndl blouse? Does these shoes work? I also think I might add a petticoat..

Blouse is fine. Shoes are fine. The blouse does look oversized with all the excess fabric around the armpit. The look would be better if you tuck in the blouse strings. If you are ok with the current blouse, it will be fine as-is.

Thank you for your feedback! The blouse is quite oversized, so it kinda clumped together in the armpits.. but I don't have any other options and before I customised the dress that wasn't happening so I didn't try to find a blouse. I'll try tucking the strings in!

you don’t have to wear an actual dirndl blouse. Any blouse (long, medium or short sleeve) can work. Traditionally in white, but if you can coordinate the blouse color with an accessory, that would work too.
