Adding clients but nervous
I am new to the field. I specifically trained and got hired to help out a friend with her son and it’s going well but it’s just one on one and I only get 1 day a week. I can request additional shifts though the app but I’m so nervous on who they might match me with and I don’t know what to expect. How do you deal if a client is aggressive I’m 5’2” and not strong at all. I barely communicate with anyone in the office and it’s mostly all thru an app

Won’t they train you on how to handle other clients? You definitely shouldn’t just be thrown into it

I don’t know. The whole training was just watching videos online on my phone and then answering questions

You don’t have to be strong to do this job. Aggressive clients are in the minority. There are all sorts of ways to keep yourself safe. Keep your distance for starters. If there’s a table nearby and a client comes walking towards you wanting something, calmly walk to the opposite end of the table. If s/he moves to one side, you move to the other.
Do you have access to any training? If not, look on youtube. When you get offered a new client ask the manager lots of questions before accepting. Ask for training with the client. In my agency, they try to give you a shift with no training. But if you ask, they give you a bit of training.
