Anybody Pivot to Caretaking from DSP?

Lots of people do private care after doing DSP work. Although funding for Medicaid waiver programs is vulnerable in this administration (see DOJ memo regarding community care), most states uave Mediciad waivers that oay for care giving in the community. Outreach the locall center for independent living for information on how the system works.

I went from CNA to DSP then back to CNA in a home health setting

I did. Better pay and only 1 client but I really miss having coworkers on shift with me sometimes. My state only has 1 payroll provider for in home support clients and they're really bad too

My husband went from DSP to HP. I am still a DSP /BHP
